No gemination in allowed in Mountain Dwarvish, though it was allowed in proto-dwarvish.
This has led to the creation of several new phonemes, which can be seen below.
Always resistant to change, however, Mountain Dwarvish writes the words the same as in
proto-dwarvish.

Palatalized consonants before /i/ and /e/.  For /m/, before /ɨ/, as /ɨ/ comes from a break with *i
